S.P. College Chandrapur Hosts Two-Week Induction Program for BCA Freshers

The Department of Computer Studies and Research at S.P. College, Chandrapur, affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, successfully organized a two-week Induction Program for newly admitted BCA First Year students. The program, approved by AICTE, was conducted from September 8 to September 26, 2025.
The initiative aimed at familiarizing fresher’s with essential academic resources and imparting foundational ICT skills required for their academic journey. A series of expert sessions were conducted by eminent faculty members on a wide range of topics, including ICT, Internet, Windows, Google Drive, Cyber Ethics, IPR and Cyber Law, PowerPoint presentations, and Goal Setting.
The program began with Dr. Bharti Dikhit session on Information and Communication Technology and concluded with Dr. S. B. Kishor insightful talk on SWOC Analysis. Eminent speakers such as Dr. Dayanand Hiremath, Asst. Prof. Gitesh Burande, Asst. Prof. Pramod Gangasagar, Asst. Prof. Santosh Shinde, Dr. Aishwarya Akkewar, and guided the students through technical, ethical, and professional aspects of computer studies.
The event was conducted under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. P. M. Katkar. The overall coordination was handled by Dr. S. B. Kishor (Coordinator) along with Asst. Prof. Shital Bora, BCA In-charge. The sincere cooperation of faculty members Asst. Prof. Priti Sontakke, Asst. Prof. Goldy Thandawani, Asst. Prof. Dhanashree Wanode, and Asst. Prof. Jayashree Khanake also played a vital role in making the program a grand success.
The induction program not only prepared students to adapt to the academic environment but also inspired them to embrace technology with responsibility and vision.

Sagunatai Talandi, Secretary Shri. Prashant Potdukhe, Joint Secretary Dr. Kirtiwardhan Dixit, Treasurer Shri. Sandeep Gaddamwar, and the Executive Members of Sarvodaya Shikshan Mandal – Shri. Rakesh Patel, Shri. Suresh Potdukhe, Shri. Chandrashekhar Wadegaonkar, and Shri. Jinesh Patel – extended their best wishes for the above initiative.
